Sandi Wright
Sandi Wright is a member of the American Choral Directors Association, the Missouri Choral Directors Association, Harmony, Incorporated, the Contemporary A Cappella Society of America, Barbershop Harmony Society and Sweet Adelines International. She has more than 35 years of directing experience at the master level. As a singer, she has earned two international barbershop quartet gold medals and numerous international silver and bronze medals.
Sandi is the only person certified as a competition judge in both the Performance Category (Harmony, Incorporated) and the Showmanship Category (Sweet Adelines International). She is among the first female candidates in the Performance Category of the Barbershop Harmony Society. She is a certified international faculty member of Sweet Adelines International and is a busy and sought-after coach.
Sandi retired from a successful career in nonprofit development, public relations and marketing. She is married to the accomplished singer, coach, chorus director and world-famous arranger, David Wright. The Wrights have three grown children and four grandchildren. They live in a 1904 World's Fair home in the Central West End, an historic neighborhood in St. Louis, Missouri.
